Another episode already? What is this sorcery?!
This episode, since we haven't actually played a new game to talk about, we spend some time chatting about the games we would LIKE to be playing...
That is, the top 5 games that we would like to play, but haven't. With no prior collusion, and no idea what we are getting ourselves into, we chat about what makes a game something we would be keen on. Oh how our tastes differ.
Gaming and hobby chats, events, other stuff. Special mention to Phoenix, Brett's cat who really wanted to be a guest presenter. We ruled that mousetrap was not a suitable game for inclusion however.
We have our grubby little hands on the new 2020 edition of bloodbowl!
We talk changes, first impressions, what the future of the game looks like for us, and take some bloodbowl virgins through their first game... after spending less than 24hrs with the new rules. What could go wrong?
All the hobby chat and other stuff as well... but, BLOODBOWL!
This episode we revive the original warhammer fantasy universe skirmish game, Mordheim! We talk through the basics, and play a couple of games, kick starting a campaign.
Along with all the usual hobby talk, and ramblings!
Keen on playing some mordheim yourself? check out broheim for all the info you'll need.
This episode we wrap up the TCG Hobby Challenge and talk through all stuff we did, then more importantly, all the awesome work people entered over the last month.
Just because it needs to be said yet again - we cannot believe the standard of work everyone entered. Blown. Away.
Massive congrats to the "winners" - ie: those that picked up prizes
Massive thanks to Mark @ Fresh Prints 3D Terrain for some awesome prizes as well!
In a slight departure from our standard fare, this episode we try out the DC deck building game, Dark Nights Metal edition. Some amazing artwork, and a sweet story don't automatically mean an awesome game - But it's definitely worth a crack to see if it can live up to the hype.
All your hobby chat, what we have been up to, and other nerd related chat.
Also apologies for the poor music sound quality - but it needed to happen.
Maybe under the bridge would have been a better song lyric reference... That doesn't matter, because this episode we talk about Warhammer Underworlds, the deck building miniature game by none other than Games Workshop. We played a game (or maybe 2) and give you an insight into how the game plays, what we did, and our overall impressions of the game.
As always there is hobby talk, and probably the odd tangent.
You wouldn't like a genestealer when they are angry...
An actual game is played! We get in and around the GW boxed game Space Hulk (3rd edition - 2009). Play through the first mission, chat about impressions and hobby and all kinds of other stuff.
Oh, have you heard about the TCG Hobby Challenge?
With zero games happening, this episode we talk about hobby we are doing, what is keeping us entertained, and give lots more info on the TCG Hobby Challenge!
What brand of paints do you use? Should I buy Citadel, or Vallejo? Why are there only 75 scales? or 3p's for that matter?
Also announcing the TCG Hobby Challenge! Check the facebook page for all the details!
Isolife, Remote recordings, the technological wonder that is the internet has let us get "together" to chat once again, and aren't you all in for a treat?!
This episode we chat all things about a game very close to both our hearts: Blood Bowl. The classic GW specialist game of fantasy football*
As always, hobby we have done, stuff we have bought, shows we have watched, games we have played. It's been too long between episodes!
This episode was done using some new tech, so apologies if the sound isn't 100% up to scratch, we will work on that...
*Actually Grid Iron, "football" means something else down this way...
