Mental health is something of utmost importance to me. As you can probably tell, a lot of my episodes are related to things that I am personally working through. The reason I do this, the reason I share my own experiences and opinions is because I hope to allow the listeners to relate, to feel validated, to feel less alone in their struggles. I like to shine light on things that most of us don't really talk about, at least not outside of closed therapy doors. I just wanted to note, in case it isn't obvious, I am not a therapist or a doctor. So please, listen and take what you need and leave what you don't.
The words thoughts and emotions are something I have struggled with separating from each other. When it comes to how we talk to ourselves, and how we respond to our thoughts and the emotions that come along with our thoughts, I feel it is imperative that we know the difference.
