Today marks the first day of my job search and my daily visual design challenges. I will be finding points of contact for places I want to work , as well as finding UI inspiration for designing waivers. Exciting! 😜

Virtual and Augmented Reality will change our perception of what is 'real' more radically than the internet did. In this entry, I talk about the importance of realizing this coming shift and what type of reality we can be living in. I think we can use Dungeons and Dragons as a great example of what these new realities can look like because they help us step into new roles and worlds like no other game. However, we need to ensure we maximize for fulfillment rather than profit in this future where the internet will be even more entangled with our everyday lives.

I want to work for and build companies that focus on solving meaningful problems and building great product. In this audiojournal entry, I talk about how companies that focus on (short term) profit are not good places to work.

Chadwick Boseman is with the Ancestors now. His death is a tragic loss for his family, the black community, and entire world. Throughout his life he has consistently sought to embody and highlight the many great black heroes of history. He is and was an inspiration for the world.

Working at a virtual reality arcade has allowed me to see thousands of people interact with VR for the first time. It has instilled in me an even greater love and passion for this technology. In this episode, I talk about how much I want to help grow this industry so that the whole world can enjoy the future in as conscientious and positive a way as possible. I want to scale and maintain the joy, wonder, and magical delight people experience with virtual reality as the tech grows and becomes mainstream.
