Welcome (Who am I)

Thoughts With Thoits was started by me Makayla Thoits, I am currently a high school senior who strives to better my community. I have struggled with mental health and I know I am not alone when I say I struggled and struggle with anxiety and depression. This podcast is a forum where I strive to bring light to the coping mechanisms and experiences that have helped bring me out of hard times. I will be hosting solo episodes with a chosen topic and plan on sharing stories, my own and from my audience, and bringing on guests who can further the conversation. Life can be hard and feel like there is no escape, this morsel of entertainment can show people they are heard and they are normal (whatever that's supposed to mean) but most of all show that we are all in this together.
