Thousands without power in metro Detroit amid extreme heat, severe storms

Roughly 40,000 households across metro Detroit are without power after strong storms moved through the region on Wednesday and Thursday. Brian Calka, vice president of Distribution Operations for DTE Energy, joins "The Metro" to give an update on restoration efforts. Also, the Michigan Glass Project is hosting a glass, music and art festival at the Russell Industrial Center this weekend. MGP Co-founder Drew Kupps joins the show to discuss the 10th annual event.
