I interviewed Blair Abee. Blair Abee is the president of the Strategy Development Group, a private consulting group that specializes in one and three-year action planning, marketing strategy, and financial management. He currently works as a business advisor at the Solano and Contra Costa Small Business Development Centers. Prior to moving to California five years ago, Blair was the Greensboro Regional Center Director for the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) in North Carolina. In his 19-year career at the NC SBTDC Blair worked with a broad range of clients, from early-stage and start-up companies to existing firms that were trying to survive or poised to grow.

Blair developed Higher Consciousness Meditation after many years of meditation and yoga, and a traumatic year at a new job with a difficult boss who was abusing employees. This forced him to dive deep into his meditation practice to stay sane. As a result, he emerged with new, vibrant ways of coping with life’s challenges.

He describes himself this way, “I am an explorer who has discovered a variety of techniques, tools, and ideas that I think you will find useful in your own personal development. Here’s an example of what I mean. From one perspective each of us has a unique story in which we are born, live, and die as three-dimensional characters here on Planet Earth. I interviewed Susan Gold. Susan is a decorated endurance athlete competing in three marathons, and dozens of triathlons and has the distinction of finishing third in her age group at the treacherous Escape from Alcatraz event. Susan Gold was raised in a challenging and chaotic family system, the middle child of five. To fully thrive, she bravely chose to meet the demons of her upbringing that were continuing to repeat. I interviewed Dr. Praveena Rajendra PhD. Certified Mental Health Coach. Dr. Praveena's Coaching. Dr. Praveena is a Certified Mental Health & Awareness practitioner and works with parental narcissistic abuse victims. She uses various techniques and coping mechanisms, including her personal life experience, to help victims recognize abusive behaviors, heal and live an empowered life. She has also created a framework known as the Narcissistic Victim Empowerment Technique (NVET) to help victims find freedom from manipulating and controlling thoughts of toxic parenting. She understands that many may find it difficult to speak about parental narcissistic abuse due to the trauma bondage and societal perception associated with it, hence Dr. Praveena takes it as a personal mission to empower as many individuals out there to take the reins of their own life.

Dr. Praveena has a dedicated column called “Mind the Mind” in The Sun; Malaysia’s national daily where she writes about mental health awareness. Also, Dr. Praveena sits on the board of the Malaysia Mental Health Association (MMHA). Dr. Praveena wears various hats. As an engineer, academician, researcher, and avid animal activist, Dr. Praveena holds notable positions in multiple non-profit organizations and serves as a voice for issues pertaining to the environment and animals. She is currently a senior lecturer at Taylor’s University. For her numerous contributions to society as a whole: people, environment, and animals namely, Dr. Praveena has received Malaysia's Women Leaders Award from the World Women Leadership Congress.

Interviewed Lynn Carey. Dr. Lynn Carey graduated from Life University in 1997 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelor in Nutrition, she owned a practice in Wilmington, Delaware, for eighteen years, and has traveled to Brazil and India. Dr. Carey's journey began way before when she had two spinal surgeries for scoliosis in high school. Afterward, she was constantly sick.
