On this first day of Summer 2022, we face some serious challlenges. None more difficult than coping with the soaring cost of living as we stumble our way out of the COVID pandemic. I made a stop to pick up a few items at our local grocery store. Three bags cost more than $100! None of it was fancy stuff. I bought lunch meat, weiners, hot dog buns, a tin of coffee, a bbq chicken and a 6-pack of non-alcoholic beer. That's it. More than $100! So, today on The Daily Brief, I thought it was more important than ever to shine a light on the 2030 Project - the effort to reduce poverty by 50% in the next seven and a half years.
