I’ve read lots of Objectivism recently, and this book is very comprehensive and accurate in describing both Ayn Rand and Objectivism. I highly recommend. If you’re an Objectivist, read this. If you just want to understand Rand and Objectivism in as few pages as possible, I’d recommend this book, along with ‘For The New Intellectual’. These are much shorter than reading all of Atlas Shrugged.

I’ve started reading Thomas Sowell’s books, and he writes some really great stuff. This one is rather short (140 pages + 20 note pages). It’s a rather simple point he’s making, but his explanations, references, and sources, are incredibly comprehensive.
