Punters battled with short prices favourites losing up and down the card, but followers of Jules's tips on Three Wide would've been saved with Splintex winning at double figure odds before his best of the day, Incentivise, joined the G1 club, winning the Makybe. Ben has some thoughts on his chances in the Caulfield Cup and has a query for former handicapper, Jules, as to what weight he might carry in the Melbourne Cup. Jules has found a couple of Blackbookers and reckons there's a great form race early in the day.

Jules starts today’s show with a declaration for the ages: He claims a horse going around at Flemington this weekend will be the symbol, nay, the icon, to lead us out of two years of stasis and pain. SD, Paddy and Grace are less convinced. SD breaks down the big race tactics in Marshall Law, before Jules tells us who will firm and who will drift in The Price Is Wrong.
