Following the Resurrection was the birth of the Church.  It is important to remember without the Resurrection there is no Church, no Christians, and no New Testament.  The Church had a message on day 1 and still has the message today!!

When Jesus died the disciples left and scattered.  Nobody expected No Body.  So what happened that we celebrate Easter?

Contentment is not something that is easy to do in our world.  Paul had to learn it and encourages us to do the same.

When you worry, what do you worry about?  Is there another choice?  A better choice?  Paul could have worried about the church in Philippi but made a different choice.  Find out what that is.

Too many people are uncertain about life after this life.  We hope we are good enough.  We hope we have done enough.  What if our Resume needed only one word?  What if we only need to be certain about one thing?  What is that?  Jesus!!!  Paul realizes his resume is nothing and Jesus is everything.  Do you realize that as well?

As we continue our journey into this letter, today Paul wants to make sure the church is making a difference.  To make a difference you have to do things differently than everyone else.  Are we?

Our primary filter for making decisions is "What's in it for me?"  What if instead, we used what he had for the good of others before ourselves.  That would change our church and change the world.

Have you ever been stuck?  Even though you are stuck, God is not stuck.  He is always at work even when we think He isn't.  Listen to part 2 in our series in Philippians.

What happens to wasted time?  You know the time you waste holding on to things that hold you back.  What happens to that wasted time?  Normally it becomes regret in our life.  But what if in the hands of Jesus nothing is wasted.  What if God can redeem our wasted time?  Listen as Pastor Ed addresses this topic.

All the things we hold on to are not equal in the ability to let them go.  Today, Pastor Ed references the MeToo movement and talk about how hard it is to let go after being sexually assaulted or abused.  There is hope to move forward with the help of Christ.
