Today we will look at the blind man who risk annoying others just so he could get to Jesus. He wasn't going to allow others to get in the way of his seeking Jesus. Do we ever allow others to get in the way of a relationship with Jesus or in doing what He ask us to do? Let's see how we can apply today's message to our own lives.

Today as we look into Noah's life, we have to first put ourselves in his culture and time period. Noah was the only righteous person, not only in his community, but on the earth as a whole. I'm sure he didn't get a lot of support from his community, yet he choose to follow God's direction. He was preparing for something that had never happened before, something I don't think he could fully understand yet he trusted in the Lord. We can learn a lot from the challenges that he faced and how he overcame them and apply those principles even as we face our own challenges today

Today, as we look into Mary's life, we will see some of the risk she took when she said "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true". While her life was full of purpose, she took many risk along the way that sometimes we just don't see until we put ourselves in her place. As we go through this today, put yourself in her shoes and walk the life she lived.

Today we will look at this woman whose identity was tied to her condition. Even in the Bible, her identity was her condition, not her name not even what she did.We will look at how she pursued Jesus for healing and the risk she took just in trying to get to him. Many times we are tied to, identified by, our "condition" either in our minds or by others. One of the things we can learn from her is that she didn't allow her condition keep her from seeking Jesus. Do we sometimes limit ourselves by how we identify ourselves? Do we allow our "condition" keep us from pursuing Christ? Let's get some insight on this today as we explore her experience.

Today we will look at Daniel and how his lifestyle, his rhythms, affected his life and those around him. He shows us how important it is to have consistent times with the Lord.

Pastor Scott walks us through the story of David & Goliath from David's perspective. He faced others not believing in him all through his life. Those around him told him couldn't fight Goliath for various reasons. He was too small, he was not trained, he didn't have the right equipment, etc. Yet he was willing to risk it all in confronting the enemy. David knew who his God was and that he wasn't going into battle in his own strength. He trust God would provide all he needed in the situation. What can we learn?

Today we will look at the 3 Hebrew children who stood up to a king who demanded that they worship the idol he had created. They made a choice to follow God's command and not bow down to the the idol even though it may cost them their lives. Their commitment wasn't based on if God removed the fiery furnace, but to a God in who they trusted. Many times we find that our desire is for God to remove the problem instead of allowing Him to be there with us in the fire. They show us that God received the glory and honor through this event and their willingness to go into the fire. How can we apply that to our lives today? Are we willing to go through difficult times and allow God's power to be shown in that time? Let's listen in and see what we can learn from them.
