The key to Mary the mother of Jesus wasn’t anything super human. She had her flaws, she was scared, nervous, even confused. What set her apart was she was ”Available” for God to use. We have the hope that people are looking for, we have good news in a world full of bad news, but we have to be available for God to use. We need to say to God “I’m Available!”

We were able to hear from four different people of how God has been faithful through many different seasons and challenges in life. As Christians, we were never promised an easy life, but we can rest in the hope that God is always with us through anything we face.

Pastor Ricky wrapped up our “The Sower and the Seed” series with “Power in Persistence.” We learned that we need to make sure we stay planted even when no one is looking, because what is sown in our private time, will reap in public when all eyes are on us. Thats why it’s important to stay persistent in our faith and keeping it watered through the word so that our roots run deep and can hold us up when we need it the most!
