Through this message God spoke through Dalton that we need to have “Much Fruit” in order to be christ like in today’s world. The world will constantly try and take us down and make us be “Sin Controlled” instead of “Spirit Controlled”. Thats why it's important to stay rooted in our faith so that we live by example, so that others see the Love of Christ flowing through us.

God may take us through different stages in our faith. When we sow, we don’t know exactly when we will reap. After we have sown, it’s a matter of waiting for the rain. Many times rain comes in different forms including storms.

God has a purpose and yes, the hardest thing for most of us is to LET GO, and let God show us the purpose within the process.

We often find ourselves in different place when serving God, when He found us we were in a lost place trying to find our way through the madness of life and sometimes even feeling like we are buried! God will sometimes plant us in the dark places because that’s where growth happens.

Yesterday, we wrapped up our Overflow series with a message entitled “Digging Ditches.” Pastor Ricky told us that we need to dig to receive an overflow. Sometimes we find ourselves asking God to bless us or answer prayers, but we can’t expect God to create overflow where we haven’t dug a ditch.

Pastor Ricky spoke on the importance of faith even when we see nothing in ourselves; But what we need to realize is that little thing we see as nothing is all we need to fulfill God’s calling. If we take what God has blessed us with and use to its full potential, God will take what we have and multiply it.

This week Pastor Ricky continued our “Overflow” series with a message entitled, “The Rub off Effect”. Through this message, we learned that one of satan’s purposes is to distract us from our purpose. He is constantly trying to pull us from our purpose with worry and struggles of life; But it’s in the middle of our struggles that we need to remember that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER!!! God will guide us through our struggles and show us our true potential and provide supernatural strength.

Pastor Ricky brought the heat Sunday morning with a message that made us think on the way we ask God to work in our lives.
