There comes a point when life becomes so full of responsibilities that we stop noticing the life we're actually living. We complete our duties, commitments, and obligations, yet somewhere along the way the ordinary begins to feel... just ordinary. And soon, our sense of wonder quietly fades. Our culture celebrates efficiency and certainty. Yet the Christian life invites something very different: a heart that remains curious, attentive, and open to discovering God's presence in places we might otherwise overlook. In this week's Centering Reset, we'll explore why curiosity as a healthy mindset, why awe transforms the soul, and how recovering both can renew the way we experience God, ourselves, and the world around us. Key Points in this RESET episode: ✨ Curiosity creates space for wisdom. ✨ Awe changes the way we see everyday life. ✨ God is often closer than we realize. We often think that one of the answers to burnout is better time management. But beneath the calendar struggles there is usually a deeper question: what are we relying on to hold our lives together? This week in Thriving in Christ show, I interviewed Carolon Donnally, a Burnout Prevention Strategist & Organizational Consultant, who learned to trust God as her Provider instead of trying to carry everything herself. From miraculous financial provision to an intentional family Sabbath that changed the way they live, this conversation is filled with practical wisdom for anyone longing to experience less striving and more peace. In this conversation, you'll discover: ✨ The surprising belief that fueled her burnout. ✨ Why the Sabbath is about far more than taking a day off ✨ The simple weekly rhythm that transformed her family's faith and connection. ✨ A practical framework for discerning God's direction in life's biggest decisions. What brings Carolon comfort is the reminder of this Bible verse: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. I pray for you and hope that you all had a wonderful week! This week I am re-sharing this inspirational video to help you lead and give in Christ from a grounded presence. Many of us have learned to lead from the mind, push through with willpower, or rely heavily on the heart. While this can work for a season, over time it often leads to exhaustion, subtle disconnection from God, and feeling fragmented between work, family, and faith. So in this week's reflection, I share with you all 2 different paths that we can take that will help us lead from the soul, the place within us where Christ is already present and alive. In this episode, you will hear more about: ☀️ Why the psychological methodology of mindfulness/ contemplation is effective. ☀️ An important function of our internal world and how it impacts our soul and our being. ☀️ How being grounded in the present moment can multiply your efforts. ☀️ The {secret} goal we can achieve each day that will lead to greater success! Let's not be afraid of our internal spaces and who we are at the core; instead, let us find comfort in God's guidance through each valley of life! Listen now! What if your exhaustion isn’t just from your workload - but from your screen time? This week, Dr. Randa Anderson joins me, and together we explore digital fasting and digital discernment - a Christ-centered approach to reclaiming focus, inner peace, and spiritual clarity in a constantly connected world. Drawing from psychology, science, and the wisdom of the Orthodox Christian tradition, this episode offers practical tools to help you guard your heart, reduce digital noise, and use technology with intention - not compulsion. If you long for deeper prayer, clearer thinking, and less internal overwhelm, this conversation will give you both conviction and actionable steps. Together, Dr. Randa and I talk about: ☀️ What digital fasting means in today's world and how it might impact you. ☀️ The spiritual, emotional, mental and physical benefits of decreasing time online. ☀️ The concept of discomfort and why it's imperative to the process of fasting. ☀️ Amazing tips to help you discern what digital fasting can look like for you. The Bible Verse that guides Dr. Randa in her practice and all she does is this: "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." ~ 1Corinthians 6:12 Click PLAY to listen to this episode ▶️ 👉 https://youtu.be/NObGR6lfx_8 🌟 And if this episode and channel blesses you, leave us a FIVE-STAR Review and DOWNLOAD the episodes you love. I pray you are well! This month, we revisit some important past episodes following the theme of FAITH, as we walk with God during this Lenten season. In this episode, I share some important concepts about connecting with God and why He might sometimes feel distant, although He is everywhere, filling all things. We long to encounter God everywhere, not just in church, but in the middle of our meetings, decisions, and daily responsibilities. Yet the greatest obstacle is often striving - because while excellence has its place, intimacy with God requires connecting with God's energies. In this episode, we cover: ☀️ When we clear our mental noise, emotional heaviness, and daily worries, we can shift our “antenna” to align with His frequency. ☀️ How this simple shift opens up our true self, our soul, making more space for the fruits of the Spirit. ☀️ Some practical steps to connect with God today in faith. Here is a short episode that will invite you to nurture the fruits of the spirit that are given to us daily through co-creation and a deep connection with Christ. TUNE IN NOW!
