When Jesus ate at the house of a Pharisee named Simon, He was greeted by a woman who would not stop kissing His feet. How we like to think we are that woman. And some of us, we were that woman. Thanking Him with our tears for saving us. But as time goes on, how many of us go from being that woman to becoming Simon. Judging others, even those who are currently, what we once were.

Jesus would regularly go off and pray alone, sometimes praying all night. Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest player ever in basketball got there through doing extra hours before and after game time. To an outsider he's just playing a game, but to Jordan he was working. To an outsider we are just praying but in fact we are working on our understanding of God and being more of what He knows we truly are.
