We are much like a diamond in the rough. The master will chip away, shape and polish it. They don’t do this to destroy it but to make it more beautiful and add value.

Surface repentance is not enough. We need to get broken down so that God can bring real restoration.

If God kept a record of our sins, who could ever survive?

It is possible to fulfill the Will of God and still have a choice. 

In this episode we are discussing the contrast of Judas and Peter after they both betrayed Jesus.

Even though Judas betrays Jesus he would have still been forgiven if he had asked for it.

We see that Peter took a totally different approach after failing Jesus.

Although Peter was a pillar of the Church, he was a cracked pillar.

Jesus said that He cuts off any branch that does not product fruit. If we want to product fruit we must remain rooted abs connected to Jesus.

We need to prune the things in our live that are not drawing us closer to God. At some point we have to decide if we would rather move closer to God or hold onto the things in life that are holding us back.

It is important for us to stay connected to God by not only being in God’s Word but obeying His Word.
