Specifically those made during one of the most prolific decades for film production. We touch on some of our childhood favorites, but mostly we ponder what was happening in the industry to encourage such a boom in PG storytelling, and why that trend hasn't kept up today.

Happy April Fools! In honor of this ridiculous holiday we tackle and equally ridiculous film: the cinematic masterpiece that is M. Night Shyamalan's THE HAPPENING. Is it the best movie ever made? Is it the worst? Was the whole thing a joke played on the audience? Or did Shyamalan actually think he was making an important environmentalist work? We'll never know for sure, but we're happy to spend an hour speculating.
