This week we feature an interview with Brother Dan Wisniewski, an Oblate of St Francis de Sales, about St Francis de Sales' life and spiritual legacy that continues through the ministry of the oblates.  We'll celebrate the feast of St Francis de Sales at all Masses the weekend of January 27 & 28.

Our wine this week is a Cabernet Franc from Shelton Vineyards in the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina.

Michalene's unpaid ad is for Bombas Socks (they are apparently very comfortable).

Jeff's recommends listening to the January 5th episode of the Ezra Klein podcast on our attention, how we can better use it and take care of it in our current times where it is constantly under pressure and demand.

Michalene speaks with Fr. Leo Patalinghug about his life and how his two interests of faith and food came together in his Plating Grace ministry, as we anticipate his visit to Holy Infant in December.

Today we were drinking the Italian Zaccagnini Montepulciano D'Abruzzo red wine.

This week Jeff suggests being intentional looking at the pictures of our departed loved ones on the tables in the narthex, and maybe choosing a face to remember in prayer this month of all holy souls.
