Start with the perspective shift.

We have to stop seeing ourselves through the mirror and start seeing us through God's eyes.

We have to believe the truth to walk in it. 

We have to take the baby steps.

Confidently walk forward in your identity in Christ.

It’s important to remember and reflect on our story, but we can’t stay there. Our past does not define us anymore. We have to let go of the hurt and insecurities and move forward. It’s a long and bumpy road, but Jesus is walking right next to us, holding our hand, and always reminding us that we are His. 

Hold your head up high and own it!! 

Proclaim it to the world. Tell others about your freedom and joy!!We experience new freedom and confidence when we share our story. You’ll be able to be a light for others. 

Continue to make the choice. 

Walking in God’s freedom daily is a choice. Sometimes it's hard to love ourselves or believe what God is saying about us. We may feel dirty, forgotten, regretful, or unworthy but when those thoughts come flooding in, we need to hold firm to the truth. We are overcomers and more than conquerors through Christ! The world will try to twist and break your identity and beliefs but we are Children of God! We have that faith. We have that hope.  

”For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?“ ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭4&5 ‭ESV‬‬

What is your purpose?

Maybe you have your life figured out, but maybe you don’t. It’s ok to not know what you want to do yet. It doesn't make you any less important. It takes time, prayer, and consideration to find your purpose and calling. 

Always remember, you have a God ordained purpose. He created you and has a plan for your life. We don’t have to worry.

Look for passion - What are you passionate about?

Look for people - Who are you serving?

Look for impact - Where are you positively impacting most?

Why you exist - Bring all those together and start your journey to finding your purpose

“As a Daughter of the King, your job is not to turn heads towards yourself, but to turn hearts towards the King.” 

Turn hearts not heads. Your purpose will be revealed along the way.

We were each given individual special gifts from God. It will look different for everyone but they are all good gifts from Him. When we recognize our gifting, we can find ways to plug into church, or other areas of life, to use them.

We are nothing

We are unaccepted and forgotten

We can never be made clean - we’ve messed up too much

God isn’t with us

We don’t have a purpose

A citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20)

There is a difference in knowing about God and knowing God

Proverbs 8:17 - I love all who love me. Those who search me will surely find me. (NLT) 

Jeremiah 9:12-13 -  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (NIV)

We must seek God and learn about Him through His word! The Bible shows us over and over who He is not just by word but by action. If we aren’t aware of who He truly is, we will miss Him all around us in our day to day life.  

Attributes of God  

(as a noun) a quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something.

God has: 

Communicable - attributes that both God and us can have yet we will never perfect them as God does

Incommunicable - attributes that only God can possess

Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Eternal + Sovereign 

God is in complete control with all the power and no limit to it. He knows all things and is in all places at once. He always has and always will be. There is no break or mess within Him.

Faithful + Immutable 

He is unchanging and always there!

Truthful

The only things God says to you are in Truth and LOVE.

God truly is LOVE. The only way to have a basis or standard of love is through God. Anything else is built on a rocky foundation.

Grace is getting what you don’t deserve. Mercy is not getting what you do deserve. God is truly patient with us as He allows us to walk through this life and learn to trust Him in all that we do.

Incomprehensible & transcendent

We are created in God's image. We are complex and beautiful creatures that God designed specifically and intentionally. We can’t discount where God has us, because we are created to be like Him. 

You are the steward of your home. You are raising up the next generation of disciples. The atmosphere you create matters. You get to cultivate a beautiful, worshipful, safe household environment. It is sacred and God has blessed you with that gift. 

You are a helpmate to your husband. This life as a married couple is a team effort. You are raising your children together. Building your home in unison. Supporting one another. God specifically gave you your spouse to be one with you. 

You’re on a mission in your home. Your church, job, friends, and family are your mission field. God has us in specific areas to minister to our people. We are on a mission to bring Christ’s light to the darkness of this world. 

We are the keeper of the word. God trusts us with His word. We are to keep it hidden in our hearts, ready to share with others.

It’s a choice you have to make when sharing content. 

Approach it with love and confidence in your belief. 

Be sure to intentionally uplift and encourage others. 

Be positive and share what the Lord is doing in your life. 

It’s important to express the raw and real things. In the midst of the hard stuff, share the hope.  

Don’t let any season go to waste. The Lord won’t let it be for nothing. He will turn it for good. He is working in your favor. 

Community is hugely important for hard seasons

Seek the Lord's voice. 

Deepen your knowledge in the Word.

Continue to talk to Him through prayer. 

Ask for wisdom in every situation. He will bless you with that discernment. 

Understanding who He is, will help you know when He’s speaking to you. The voice becomes stronger the more you obey.
