Throwdown Show

Deadpool is here and it is amazing. This movie washes away the horrible taste of the X-Men Origins film and delivers the Deadpool experience we've all wanted to see.

On this episode we go in-depth about the movie's plot, characters, and overall tone. We talk about how effective the fourth wall breaking moments were, and how the R rating helped the film. We also discuss if the film was released at the right time in terms of delivering a different type of superhero movie genre and if we'll get more R rated superhero films in the future.

This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, and Tony Rogers.

Welcome to another episode of Throwdown!

Microsoft announced that Quantum Break is coming to PC, thus giving a potentially larger audience a chance to play their upcoming AAA exclusive. However, this great moment that should have been celebrated was met with anger from none other than the Xbox community itself. If you were on Twitter today then you would have seen fanboys losing their minds and attacking Xbox chief Phil Spencer for supposedly betraying them.

Our main topic deals with Quantum Break coming to PC. Specifically, we talk about the idiot fanboys who are actually complaining about this despite the fact that pre-ordering the game on Xbox One will net them Alan Wake, its two DLCs, its expansion, AND a digital copy of the PC version of Quantum Break FOR FREE. We dive into where the root of this anger comes from (p.s. it's because Xbots lost ammo in their bullshit console war).

Other topics we discuss tonight:

- January NPDs

- The death of GameTrailers.

- Video games don't make people sexist

- The Twitter Safety council

We're also joined by the Spawn on Me crew: Kahlief Adams, Cicero Holmes, and Shareef Jackson, along with Parris Lilly from GamerTag Radio, and have a deep discussion about free speech and racism. Our good friend Charles Singletary Jr joins in the fun as well.

This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, Chris Sealy, Brett Murdock, and guests: Kristin Carella, Alex Nuss, Parris Lilly, Kahlief Adams, Cicero Holmes, Shareef Jackson, and Charles Singletary Jr.
