*Why is linearity in gaming considered a bad thing?
*What series would you retire and which would you renew?
*Is Robin the real villain of Teen Titans Go?
*Is Halo 5 confirmed to be at 1080p?
*Are there any advantages to not going to 60fps?
*If someone is insecure about their (video game console) purchases, what can they do to feel secure?
*Will Shenmue III have Sega arcade games or will the be knock-off versions?
*Are you getting tired of so many AAA open world games?
*What is your opinion of devs who make a Kickstarter game and then announce a sequel to it shortly afterwards?
*How would you make a good Superman game?
*What do you think of the possibility of the Nintendo NX being a hybrid console priced at $150-$200?
*What's one good thing and one bad thing about each console?
*If you could work for a publisher, who would you work for and why?
*Pitch a video game idea to us in 60 seconds.
*What is the best and worst thing to happen in video games since the Atari 2600?
*If you could change one thing in this industry, what would it be?
*If Windows 10 and DX12 makes gaming as easy, if not easier than console gaming at an affordable price, would you bite?

  • Throwdown Ep. 41 - "Everlasting Legacy"
Tonight's main topic is about games which have left a lasting legacy. Should titles which revolutionized the industry be held to a different standard than others? Is it right to dismiss games which did something innovative first because others took that idea and made them better? What modern games have introduced things which will be copied and perfected in the future? We discuss all of this.
    This week's news topics include:
*Warner Bros. knowing that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight was fucked up for months.
*Allison Road, a game inspired by P.T. and Silent Hills is in development.
*Original Ryo Hazuki voice actor returning to reprise his role in Shenmue III.
*Latest details on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, Brian Munjoma, Chris Sealy, and Randil Hines.

  • Throwdown Ep. 40 - "Knightfall"
Today's show is about all things Batman: Arkham Knight. Many of us on the show are playing (and loving) the game so we talk about what we think of it so far. Not all is rosy with the game however, so we also discuss the botched PC port of the game and also about some of the questionable DLC practices that Warner Bros. has initiated with the release of this highly anticipated title.
On the news front we discuss Destiny's Red Bull partnership and about how silly it is. Finally, we talk about how the PS+ Edition of DriveClub has (finally) been released.
On this episode we welcome our good friend Weapon X who many of you may remember from The Video Game Warzone and who is always talking to members of Throwdown on Twitter. We also have a surprise appearance from Torrence Davis who wanted to correct us about Batman and Destiny. In addition, Brett gets on his soapbox to talk about Ark.
This episode features: Tony Polanco (host), Emilio Lopez, Brian Munjoma, Rachael Murdock, Brett Murdock, and Chris Sealy. Special thanks to guests: Weapon X and Torrence Davis.
