When a nation uses intoxication to forget their accountability to God, they end up unfulfilled and hopeless, given over to their sin. God will be glorified no matter what. Will you glorify Him with your obedience or as an object of His just judgment?

First, a nation ignores God, then they forget God, then they mock God, then they remove God, then they set themselves up as God, and finally they rule as God. Prayer is an area in which we can all grow. The more familiar we are with God and His word, the more we will know what to prioritize in prayer. Pastor Brian encourages us to keep a list of things to pray for, to pray for people in good and bad times, and to look at the prayers of godly people who came before us.
