Born in California to Scottish parents, Cameron pursued a life in soccer heading to Scotland to join iconic football club Celtic F.C. where he spent almost three years and made his senior debut with the club earlier this year. Katie touches on the importance of soccer in Scotland and how it is “the sport” and we get into the joys of selecting which country to represent at the international level as he’s eligible for both Scotland and USA. Remembering when he got his first call from USA Soccer, to the conversation he had with Red Bulls on coming over to the MLS. The importance of real life games as opposed to training and how he’s stayed mentally and physically ready through the last 18 months.
