In this series we’re asking what is the Holy Spirit, what does it do and what are we supposed to do with it? Today’s message looks at what is the Holy Spirit and helps us understand the Holy Spirit in today’s world.

Jesus - King

Series: Jesus - The Eras Tour

Date preached: 20th April 2025

TIDE Church is a diverse community of people on a mission to follow the teaching and life of Jesus. We are a Christian church based in Adelaide, Australia who are sharing the good news of Jesus with people everywhere.

Today’s message …

Today is our special Easter message. Easter Sunday is the most important day of the year for Christians and that’s because of what happened when Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus’ resurrection changes everything: the way we hear his teaching, the way we see his miracles and the way we think about his “kingdom”. But most of all, the resurrection proves Jesus’ claim that he is “the Christ” and “the King”. Todays’ message is the last in our “Jesus - the eras tour” series, and today we look at what it means for Jesus to be “the king”.

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. THINK: what is one thing that really stuck out to you in this message?

2. FEEL: how does this message make you feel?

3. DO: what will you do this week in response to this message?

4. BE: who am I becoming?

If you’ve got questions or want to connect, we’d love to hear from you.
