Nothing gets people arguing like a discussion about who is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). 2000 years ago someone wrote a message to convince people that Jesus is the GOAT. That message was so powerful for those who heard it that they copied it and shared it - and the people who heard it copied it and shared it, and today that message still lives … we call it the book of “Hebrews” in our Bibles. In this series we unpack this ancient message from start to finish, asking ourselves what this ancient message has to say to us in the 21st century about who really is the GOAT.

1. Who do you think of when you hear “the greatest of all time?” (You can’t cheat and say “Jesus”)

3. What other spiritual ideas do you see influencing the world around you? And influencing you?

Hospitality and Inclusivity

Jesus hung out with a lot of “interesting people”. Not just once or twice, but consistently. In fact, he earned a reputation for hanging out with the “wrong” people. In this message we look at the choices Jesus made to welcome and include people that most people avoided … and most people still avoid today. We look at the choices Jesus made and the things he taught and ask ourselves “what does this mean for the way followers of Jesus live today?”

In this message we look at the life of the most well known of all women in the Bile - Mary the mother of Jesus?

Dealing with difficult people

Why do Christian churches get together weekly? Why do Christians eat together and hang out together? In this series we explore the idea of “Christian community”, looking at what it is and why it’s been so important to followers of Jesus for thousands of years. One of teh biggest challenges in any community is dealing with “difficult people” that we find there. Jesus knew this and in this message we hear him talk directly about how to deal with difficult people … and then we think about what that means for us today.
