Sharing your faith … with actions

Sharing your faith … with words

Series: How do I share my faith?

1. What’s been your experience of sharing your faith in words: either your sharing, or someone sharing with you?

2. Grab a piece of paper and make a few notes to capture “your story”: how was your life before or without following Jesus; what made you follow Jesus; how is your life different now because of Jesus - how is it ‘better’? Have a go.

3. Now try writing some notes to help you explain “His story”: God’s love for all people; our sin and mess; Jesus’ solution; our response. Do it with a friend and practice it together. if you can’t find a friend, practice in the mirror. Have a go!

Why do Christians share their faith

Series: How do I share my faith?

1. What’s the first thing you think about when you hear someone talking about “sharing your faith”? Scared? Awkward? Excited? What?

2. How does hearing Jesus described as “the saviour of the world” make you think about sharing your faith? Different? No different? How and why?

3. Paul says he was “compelled” to share his faith. What would have to happen for you to feel compelled to share your faith? It could be anything … “God would have to do this …”, “I would have to feel that …”, “I would need someone else to do…”. There’s no right answer. Be honest. Have a go.

God’s Eternal Kingdom
