Chillout Culture is the side project of Francesco Stella, a passionate record collector who boasts a vast musical knowledge and a long DJ experience that began back in 1993.

In the mid-90s he founded Eclipse Music and Black Sunshine Recordings, two labels operating in the dissemination of Deep Techno and House sounds with a catalogue appreciated by international figures such as Mad Mike (UR), Mike Huckaby, Laurent Garnier, Brendon Moeller, Arne Weinberg, Convextion.

He is currently involved in the management of Black Heat, an online independent vinyl shop.

This mix was recorded at DDR in Turin in December 2021.

DJ, musician, producer, label owner, radio presenter, promoter, author and journalist, Andrea Benedetti is one of the most significant figures in the Italian electronic music scene, and was crucial for the development of the so called techno movement "The Sound Of Rome".

Forged by an almost insane love for the irresistible sound of Detroit, he's been releasing his works since 1991 using different aliases, as well as collaborating with many radio stations, magazines and being regular guest at workshops and conferences to share and spread his incredible musical knowledge.

Born in Rome but based in Florence, Simona Faraone is historically one of the first women to have undertaken the profession of disc-jockey in Italy and also in Europe.

A very high level profile that has reached an expressive maturity of great value: she proposes elegant selections, in a journey into the heart of Techno and House, drawing on old-school pearls, jazz inspirations, a wide spectrum of sound suggestions that deeply touch her refined taste, all magically combined with contemporary productions of excellence.

Simona's guestmix for Tiella Sound includes an exclusive preview of a track taken from Feel Fly's forthcoming EP "Sacrificio", out later this year on her label New Interplanetary Melodies (@newinterplanetarymelodies).

Luc Sauvage and Michele Tessadri met in Berlin, that wasn’t difficult considering that at the time they were both regulars of the Berliner underground electronic scene.

With their previous projects they released original production/remixes and edits under various aliases on different labels such as Nang, Under The Shade, Slow Motion, Cliché Breaks and Passport To Paradise to name just a few.

The natural consequence was starting a joint production venture in which they could blend their influences and lay out dance-floor oriented music, which has been released on Slow Motion, Roam Recordings, Where Were We? and Pizzico Records among others and got enthusiastic feedback from deejays all around the world.

Last Tiella Sound show of the year. 2021 was Luca Bigote's first year being a @lyl_radio resident and he closes it with his usual combination of brand new music and recent discoveries, this time on a more trippy and downtempo kind of vibe.

From throwing parties at his hometown and spinning records on the local scene, to organizing high capacity nights in Zagreb and sharing the decks in Slovenia and Serbia, Evan has been DJing more than 20 years and during this time he has managed to subtly put a mark on every corner of the regional house and techno scene.

He's one of the founding members of the Legalize Lambada story, the well known Vakum Records and the recently established Forbidden Dance Records.

Federico Icaza-Graue a.k.a. Bobby Cazanova is a dj and producer from Mexico City currently based in Berlin.

His releases in labels such as Childsplay (that's where I discovered him and his music!), Hen & Goose and Handy Records focus mainly on sounds of house, breakbeat and tech, among others.

Author, professor, party host, DJ and founder of Lucky Cloud Sound System, Tim Lawrence is internationally acclaimed for his knowledge about the NYC downtown music and party scene of the 1970s and 1980s, and in particular the influence of David Mancuso and his The Loft.

He shared what's behind his guestmix for Tiella Sound: "It's a session I was asked to record for a Mark Fisher tribute at the ICA in London. I tried to create a mix that would speak to Mark's sensibility as well as my own. Mark was into some sounds – more on the breakbeat/rave trip, that I wouldn't necessarily play at All Our Friends (the invite-only party he runs in London with Cyril Cornet, Jem Gilbert, Cedric Lassonde, ed.), but the mix came out reasonably well and I was quite pleased with the result. That event took place 30 January 2021".
