Tensione Casio is a project entirely devoted to a “cinema di genere” (genre cinema) which no longer exists but still keeps being referred to nowadays: from Umberto Lenzi's car chases, to Lucio Fulci's visual deliriums, from Riz Ortolani's illusory relaxations to Augusto Martelli's detours on the theme.

As directors and composers create a layered universe of sounds and images, Tensione Casio mixes Italian library music, cinematic stuff, soundtracks and extra beats selected by Billy Bogus with the improvisation of Daddario at Moog + MPC and Alessandro Marchiorri at the double bass + FX.

Their guestmix for Tiella Sound is a live improvised session recorded on September 3rd at Capsule in Modena (Italy), at one of the events organised to promote the their new ultra limited 7" vinyl release "Agguato Caraibi", out two weeks ago via Pizzico Records and featuring the organ and synth master Max Paparella.

Born, raised and based in Amsterdam, Aurelius is a real House music warrior in the party scene for a while now. I discovered him by chance at Radio Radio, a small club in the Dutch capital, and invited him to play at my ritmo party at Klunkerkranich in Berlin in July 2019.

After spreading 4/4 quality beats at Red Light Radio for many years, he moved his House of Aurelius radio show to Lovelee Radio, where he has a bimestrial residency.

His guestmix for the Tiella Sound Mix Series was recorded at that stunning place which is Doka in Amsterdam - if you don't know it go check it out, and it includes tracks by the likes of Alex Agore, Jamerson, University Of Love feat. MBG, Omniverse and many more.

Born in Naples but currently based in London, Davide Del Vecchio (official artist page) started spinning records in the early 2000s with some of the most important and influential deejays of the House Music scene, such as Marshall Jefferson, Todd Terry, Kerri Chandler and Claudio Coccoluto to name a few.

Creator of Rehab, a party crew that started organizing events in Terracina (IT) back in 2009, Davide is now resident at famous Egg London where he often play all-nighters. Furthermore he has recently started a residency on UK based web-radio Universal Rhythms, and is pushing hard on shaping his own sound as a producer by working on his own as well as collaborating with musicians.

The Mechanical Man is the moniker of Neapolitan dj and producer Nicola Altieri.

His sound is strongly influenced by fathers of US House and recalls the African warmth where the groove was born, the unmistakable smell of Harlem, the excitement of those sites of Broadway where it all started, the pressure of the first ballrooms in which everything was possible.

For the Tiella Sound mix series he delivered 60 minutes of selection made only of tracks he released on labels such as Forbidden Dance, Bosconi, Release Sustain, Alfa Planet/Bellissima Records and more.

Marco Parenti aka Markeno started approaching dj-tools during mid 90's, deeply attached to the vinyl means he has crossed through several music genres, from techno of the 90's rave scene to black and disco suggestions 'till the contemporary evolutions of electronic dance music and many more styles – jazz, soul, funk, rare grooves, world, so that his performances and selections are a magical music journey around the world.

Today Markeno has a monthly residency on Radio Raheem, he's music curator of The Botanical Club in Milan and producer and sound designer for Art projects, video and commercials.

Alessandro Parisi is an Italian electronic musician from Pordenone. Also known as Hesperius Draco and involved in many projects such as Sacrestia del Santissimo Sangue and Dynamite Winter Palace, describes his musical style as “Esoteric Disco“. Influenced by baroque and romantic classical music, has created a blend of retrofuture and dark ritual electronic sound with references to past civilizations, spiritual harmonies and ancient sacred mysteries.
