Williams decision came down between Arkansas, Baylor, Kentucky and Memphis, and Hardaway ultimately sealed the deal on the Evansville transfer.

Throughout the interview, Williams and Roy both explain how hard Hardaway came after Williams, which led to his commitment. Hardaway held three Zoom meeting this week with Williams and his family, and the Tigers coach proved how much he wanted Williams.

On Saturday, Nolley chose the Tigers over Georgia and Ole Miss, which was a huge win for Penny Hardaway and Memphis' staff. Nolley is one of the top transfers in the country, and he could still potentially be eligible next season.

The NCAA will have a vote on May 30 to see if ALL incoming transfers are eligible next year, and Memphis' staff is obviously going to have their fingers cross that it passes.

At 6-foot-7, Nolley has great size and versatility, and he perfectly fits what Hardaway wants in the back court at Memphis.

Coming out of high school, Nolley was the No. 67 overall recruit and the No. 15 overall small forward.

To begin the episode, Fowler and Hansen discuss the impact that COVID-19 is having on college sports. Specifically, they discuss the spring evaluation period being compromised, and the fact that the dead period has been extended to May 31.

Fowler and Hansen discuss all the possible ways this could affect schools, coaches and players, including that this could lead to a lot of misevaluations of players. A lot of players are discovered at this time of year, but that has all changed now.

Next, the duo goes through some of the transfers that Memphis coach Penny Hardaway and the staff are after the hardest and what happened to some of the transfers the Tigers missed out on.

After discussing transfers, they move on to the two high school recruits that will make their announcements in the coming weeks – five-stars Jalen Green and Greg Brown.
