The 31st December 2024 proved a dark day for the world of broadcasting as news broke of the sad passing of the legendary writer, DJ and broadcaster Johnnie Walker at the age of 79. The rock by his side for over 20 years was his beloved wife Tiggy who he married in 2002. Former commercials producer, Tiggy Walker became entwined to one of the most beloved broadcasters in Britain and was there through every stage of his battle with cancer. Following the release of Both Sides Now:  Laughter, Grief and Everything in Between, I caught up with the author to talk: legends, broadcasting and memories of a radio icon.
