i recently sat on a panel with ashton applewhite, the first "ageism activist" i've ever met. hearing her talk about how we're all conditioned to be ageist, and how ageism and ableism go hand in hand, was super eye-opening and thought provoking -- and i'm just going to be blunt about *all* the reflections i've been having about aging, age, and ageism. would love to know what you think!!

i would consider my first job (outside of babysitting/working chores around the house) to be the summers i worked as a legal assistant for my mock trial coach. in this episode, i reflect on what the job taught me, and my first experience with the professional world. danggg so much has changed since then...
i had a big self-care day of therapy and catching up with my psychiatrist. tldr i am, of course, still experiencing anxiety and depression symptoms, but frustrated by how i keep just getting pushed to increase my meds dosage. i want to work on the root of these symptoms and not just tack on band-aid solutions. my therapist also suggested ketamine infusion to work on some ptsd symptoms and i'm curious if anyone here has tried that before or know people who have?
i'm still in argentina after spending my birthday weekend here and mannnnn the pace of life is slow. it's new, challenging, and rather thought provoking. in this episode i talk through this and discuss how the concept of lifestyle pace has changed throughout my life as i've moved around.
something you might not know about me is that i played on the boys' varsity baseball team in high school. what!? yeah, honestly it still surprises me and I still don't really understand why I decided to make such a big time commitment to something that i didn't have any prior interest in. in this episode, i reflect on past impulsive experiences that led me on unexpected journeys -- playing baseball being one of them.

For the last week, I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed, and had more than a few panic attacks. Between lunar new year, work stress, and personal things I’m facing, it’s just feeling like…a lot. And the news about gun violence in this country does not help. In this episode, we face these thoughts, instead of trying to avoid them, and I share some things I’ve been experimenting with for coping.

I'm a few weeks away from turning 25-years-old, and in this episode I sit down to reflect on my irrational fear of aging and dying. This is something that I've struggled with for as long as I can remember, and it feels like ABOUT TIME that I move on from it. Nervous to share this, but eager to hear if some of y'all may relate.

This is my unedited and rather unfiltered reflection on where I find myself right now -- a work in progress, channeling my inner tigress.
