We have the host of “Sippin’ With Shawn”, Shawn Cav, on the “Ian Interviews” segment and it was an absolute blast!! It was definitely our longest interview let alone our longest episode to date!! We started out with an interview and then ended up going on tangents about politics, the paleo diet, music, common sense, the difference between men & women, TV Shows (along with guilty pleasure shows), tour stories, AOC, Chappelle’s Show, and more!! This is the start of our soon to be new podcast on the channel, The Whiskey Capitalist with both Ian and Shawn!! This week, we discuss the slap heard ‘round the world aka The Slappening aka the moment that the whole world knew that Will Smith keeps his b*lls in Jada Pinkett Smith’s purse. We break down the absurdity of the moment that Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards aka the Oscars, and we discuss it from the viewpoint of a married couple and talk about the consequences of having an “open marriage” (which in our opinion isn’t a marriage) and we also show our favorite takes from comedians and celebrities about the #CuckWill debacle. We also review definitions of different genders in an effort to fully plunge ourselves into insanity. Then we end the episode with answering the tough question of, “Are there more doors or wheels in the world?”

This week, we discuss the effects that the roof has had on our collective mental health and our economy, we try and discuss what we know about the Russia/Ukraine debacle. We also discuss our marriage and how we have the respect for each other to know each other’s roles and responsibilities and the respect given for both roles. With the UNT situation with Jeff Younger, we discuss the ridiculous nature of the protests that occurred. We also highlight a logical and constructive comment we received on one of our videos from a trans subscriber of ours. This is a great and thought provoking episode…and don’t worry, plenty of funnies…

Disclaimer: After recording this episode, the audio from the mics ended up getting deleted/corrupted!! With the frustration of having a couple episodes that had this problem, Ian just shelved the episode. After listening back to the episode, and even though it’s a lot later than we wanted, we are stoked to get them out!! Had to go through a good amount to recover this so please take it with a grain of salt of the production front!!

This week, we discuss the history of “69” and where the term/act originated from, along with plenty of stupid jokes. We also discuss the word f*ck, how great of a word it is for its multiple uses, and how unfortunate it is that it’s a “bad word”. We also talk about the Netflix Documentary, “CRACK: Cocaine, Corruption, and Conspiracy” and dive into our interpretations and opinions on the issues discussed in the documentary. We also talk about our interesting neighbor dilemmas and the potential murder that will inevitably take place in the neighborhood.

This week, we discuss, no roast, the biggest Alpha-Male of them all, Jack Murphy AKA John Coleman AKA Alpha Male Giga-Chad, and his decision to commit career suicide by unleashing a Beta rage on  Sydney Watson on her and Elijah Schaffer’s Blaze TV show, You Are Here. We also discuss Matt Walsh going on the Dr. Phil show and debating a couple “Gender Consultants” about the definition of what it is to be a woman and the affects it has on children. We also discuss the smear campaign of 270 “Doctors” on Joe Rogan and how it was only 87 actual doctors with a mixture of other random characters…including a podcast host.

On our third “Ian Interviews” segment, we have Ian’s old Austin buddy, Kerry Boykin, vocalist of Neon Grove, on the show!! We discuss his new musical project Neon Grove, our past crazy tour stories involving some bed-wettingly funny experiences, the shenanigans we got into at Ian’s party house, and the recent news about Every Time I Die breaking up after over two decades of amazing music. Definitely an entertain watch/listen.

This week, we have our good friend Nick Wright back on the show!! He has recently got deep into the Crypto-currency game and then in turn got Ian into it. With Jenn being the more financially sound person in the marriage, Ian wanted to have Nick on to give a more thorough explanation about how it all works. We also speak about Disneyland and the new Avengers Campus as well as our favorite rides and dining destinations at the happiest place on earth. We then speak about inflation and how it will affect us in the future because of the policies that are in place currently and the ons coming down the pipe next. We end the episode with some questions from PodDeck that help enlighten y’all with our opinions on a variety of different topics.

On our second “Ian Interviews” segment, we have our good buddy Dan Newmeyer on the show!! We talk about his recent bout with the coof and his experience with quarantine which in turn led to his Goatee…which Ian let him know that it was a bad idea. We also discuss the Ghislaine Maxwell trial that is going on currently and the laundry list of characters/companies that were listed as defendants in the case. We speak about Alec Baldwin’s history with anger (towards his then 12 year old daughter) and how it could be something to reference when investigating the tragic incident on the set of his movie “Rust”. Ian also asks about Dan’s perception of the Kyle Rittenhouse case/verdict and how the corporate media completely mislead the American public about basic facts of the case. We also discuss the fact of how close our reality is to the movie “Idiocracy” and how crazy it is that Matt Groening and The Simpsons predicted so many things over the past 30 years.

This week, we talk about the Kyle Rittenhouse trial along with the media bias and the outright lies from the prosecution/Gaige Grosskreutz (this was recorded 2 days before the not guilty verdict was given). We also discuss the tragedy of the Alec Baldwin shooting of Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and Director Joel Souza on the set of his movie “Rust”. We also talk about the Travis Scott/AstroWorld tragedy, The singer of Brass Against p**ing on a fan on stage, our review of Marvel’s Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, our excitement for SpiderMan: No Way Home, and what Star Wars Nerds smell like.

We have a new segment o here for y’all called, “Ian Interviews” and we are super stoked to have Erik Kluiber (Guitars/Vocals) of the band Void Vator on as our first guest. Ian and Erik touch on where the band got it’s awesome name, the Hollywood music scene amidst the mandates, the Travis Scott tragedy at AstroWorld (and not just his music), as well as our current content binges as of late. Also, future editions of “Ian Interviews” will be full video content but something happened with the video call and the files were corrupted, but this interview was rad so we had to do something to make the video content enjoyable and still put it out.
