It was a pivotal time and match for both of us and its outcome meant different, yet similar things for the both of us. We watch the match together and reminisce about the match itself, what led up to it, the past, the present. Branden Powell was a Kansas State Champion in 1994 and is now an assistant coach at Paola High School. His son Kaidan was a state champion last year and is looking to repeat as a senior.
