Humanity is unique in all of creation in the way in which we are representatives God (of course, never perfectly). Moreover, Jesus – God become human – is the EXACT imprint of God’s Nature (Heb.1:3). What this means for us and how we respond will actually flesh itself out in some very basic, practical ways.

Wind is a powerful force in nature and has played a pivotal role in many epic scenes found in the Scriptures. The Hebrew word for wind is Ruach. But it's also a word used to describe breath and Spirit. All three of these depict the movement of God.

God is in control and He is God in every season. He is worthy of praise and we can trust Him no matter what is happening in our lives! But sometimes we endure desert-type seasons where we feel distant or we're walking through trials that test our faith. This weekend we will continue our series titled, "God's Nature" by exploring the question, "where is God in the desert?"

Fire is one of the most powerful themes in the Bible. With a focus on Exodus (starting with the burning bush, to the pillar of fire, and to the fire atop Mount Sinai), we explore the ways God’s presence is faithful, intense, and refining.

For much of human history, agricultural-based living was pervasively common. That is why so much of Scripture draws lessons, instructions, and illustrations from the fields and harvesting.
