School is back in session down in Stoughton and Starbucks is ready to take over the coffee scene there. Can a lingonberry latte be far off? Lefse wraps? Plus Skip notes some of the new construction here in Madison and they jointly complain that State Street ain't what it used to be.

This leads smoothly(?!) into a mini-exegesis on Madison's best dive bars.

Once the bellyaching ends, the boys tell us what TV shows have been keeping their peepers busy and then review Tzenni by Mauritanian musician Noura Mint Seymali.

Happy spring! It's our semi-annual vernal spectacular wherein we get an update on the further chainification of Stoughton as well as new buildings in Madison.

Old Man Schuck has been watching Snowfall so he tells us about that plus his failure to finish Lovecraft Country. Meanwhile Skip watched Judas and the Black Messiah and some World War II movies including The Heroes of Telemark which puts Norwegian heroism on display, something dear to the folks of Stoughton.

Finally they review Phoebe Bridgers' album, Punisher, because she smashed her guitar on TV. Well, that and because unofficial show sponsors like Mad City Music and B-Side said it's good. Is it?

As spring approaches, Old Man Schuck and Skip talk food. But first OMS gives us the 411 on schools reopening in Stoughton. The Home of the Coffee Break is also set to get its first Starbucks. (He says support your local indie coffee shop instead.) Then they talk doughnuts, including the sale of People's Bakery, the Madison classic - Guerrilla cookies - and finally hamburgers.

The music review this week is the eponymous debut of Osibisa from 1971, an Afro rock band from London made up of Ghanaian and Caribbean ex-pats. (They have a new album due next month!)

OId Man Schuck kicks things off with the latest on Stoughton's plans (as of sometime in January) for reopening schools before telling us about watching HBO's Lovecraft Country. He then reveals that he makes an appearance in American Movie. Skip had no idea he was once a foley artist. Meanwhile Skip has been watching the Spanish show 30 Coins and getting rather spooked by it.

Then they discuss Ryan Adams' latest album, Wednesdays, wherein Skip gets schooled in all things Adams solo related.
