The Celtics fall to the Denver Nuggets 123-111 in another brutal 3pt shooting effort. JB came out firing in this one and ended the night with 30pts 8reb and 3ast while shooting 12-20 from the field and 4-8 but outside of him, everybody struggled creating offense and hitting shots. Tatum did end the night with 25pts but his shooting struggles popped up again as he missed all 4 of his 3pt shots as well as 3FTs. This was far from Tatum's fault as he was not the only one that struggled shooting. Guys not named Jaylen Brown combined to shoot just 20% from 3 but we saw Tatum, Smart and Brogdon (arguably 3 of our top 5 guys) shoot a combined 0-11 from deep.

Honestly, outside of the horrible shooting, I thought the offense looked fine for most of this game. We ended the game assisting on 30 of our 40 makes which shows the ball movement was certainly there and I thought we saw a lot of cutting in this game as well. The Celtics had 4 less turnovers, 6 more rebounds, 1 more fast break pt, and 14 more pts in the paint and they still lost. It was the 3pt shooting and defense that really stabbed the Celtics in the back. On top of us shooting just 27% from 3, the Nuggets went out and shot 57% from 3. It's hard to beat any team in the NBA when there is such a disparity. The Celtics look to rebound on Tuesday night against the Thunder.
