In this episode I sat down with my old team mates Duncan Paia'aua and Reece Hewat. We all made the move from the Queensland Reds in Australia, to France to continue our rugby careers. We talk about why we left Australia, our first impressions of France and the rugby, along with some of the challenges we've faced living in a foreign country. 

In this episode Pam and I talk about our own experiences with side hustles, from becoming an Uber driver while playing professional rugby to starting an online fashion jewellery store in France. We share what has/hasn't worked for us and tips on what might help you. 

This week I spoke with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto rugby, music and his concerns for todays youth. We discuss how violence isn't the answer and the importance of good role models for youth to look up too.  We also talk about how the challenges our youth face can be resolved at home and encourage the youth to always be themselves. A message of hope and encouragement for youth and their parents.

This week I had the opportunity to talk with Nemani "Nemz" Nadolo who speaks about being raised in a small suburb called Goodna in Brisbane, Australia, to being told by several Australian super rugby teams he wasn't good enough. His story is one of persistence and passion, to overcome adversity and become one of rugby's most prolific try scorers and an icon of the game. Nemz also recently welcomed the birth of his first child, Ethan, and talks about how fatherhood has changed him.  Enjoy!
