From diagnosed with ADHD to forgetting I ever even had it......
After being diagnosed with ADHD, trying medication, and feeling discouraged, I became determined to understand whether my mind could be trained to operate differently. What followed was a journey of meditation, identity work, delayed gratification, movement, and learning how to become the observer of my thoughts instead of being controlled by them.
In this episode, we explore:
• Why I stopped identifying with ADHD
• How meditation became a practice of resisting impulses(not relaxation)
• The role dopamine played in my daily habits
• Why exercise, journaling, and affirmations changed the way I think
• The mindset shifts that helped me feel calmer, more focused, and more intentional
This isn't medical advice! It's my personal experience and the practices that transformed the way I experience my mind. My hope is that it encourages you to see your own mind as something that can be trained, strengthened, and reshaped over time.
