Mac Jones showing emotion? Let’s hope he doesn’t go missing. The Patriots lost to the Bills on Thursday Night Football in very un-Belichickian fashion, and Uncle Sam thinks there’s one person to blame. The tub of shit himself, Matty P. We give our predictions on all the week 13 matchups as we enter the witching hour of the NFL season. Sam believes that the 49ers D has what it takes to stunt the unworldly passing attack of Tua and the Miami Dolphins. Uncle Sam believes the Bucs and Tom Brady’s season will run into the Saints like a truck hitting a brick wall, come completely crashing down. Bruce I’m blind hope and desperation still believes in his Lions to beat up on the Jags at Ford Field. We conclude with our top 5 Christmas movies of all time to help get our resident “Uncle Samta Claus” into the holiday spirit.
After a quick recap of Monday night's action, we update you on injuries impacting the fantasy football world in week 13, give you advice on who we would start and who we would sit, and who our weekly sleepers
How big are the scrotums of Doug Pederson and Brandon Staley? Absolutely gargantuan. In a weekend filled with game deciding 2-point conversions, a million rushing yards, and Russel Willson looking worse than a bronco's ass, Uncle Sam comes after His Excellency Thomas Patrick Brady Jr hard. He blames Tom for the Bucs sub .500 woes, while Sam called for Todd Bowles job. We discuss the Bengals great November, and their ability to shut down King Henry. Philadelphia and MVP favorite Jalen Hurts knock off an injured Aaron Rodgers, and Sam is confident in saying Green Bay’s season is over. Uncle Sam makes a case for Tua and Patty Mahomes to win MVP after blowout wins over the Texans and Rams respectfully. The Tugboat isn’t impressed with the Ravens after their D was exposed by Trevor Lawrence and the Jags.
In the most shocking news of the week a female talked to The Tugboat last night…but you’ll very quickly see by his state during todays show why things didn’t go in his favor. Uncle Sam recaps Dan Campbell blunders that he believed cost the Lions their biggest win in years on Thanksgiving day. He then goes on to continue to degrade Dak Prescott in typical fashion. Bruce deems the curse of Kirk Cousins after 1 pm null and void after the Vikings beat the Pats in a very solid New England effort. Sam talks about seeing big weekends out of Tampa Bay, Washington, and Indy and has a sneaking suspicion that Arizona will hit a hot streak. We go forward with what may be our worst picks of the year, and end with Uncle Sam taking the Carolina Panthers as his lock of the week…no I’m not lying. For our full breakdown of picks check out our instagram @tippedballs
This week we break down the Monday night slaughter between the Cardinals and 49ers in Mexico City. Uncle Sam and Bruce make the wrong decision of picking the Detroit Lions to upset the Buffalo Bills. Uncle Sam is the only host who thinks that G Men can defeat the Cowboys, and we all pick the Patriots to beat Kirk Cousins, in prime time to wrap up Thanksgiving! To cap off todays show we hit you with our favorites and foes during our week 12 fantasy frenzy.
Sam admits his wrongdoing picking the Giants over the Lions but isn’t ready to buy in to the Lions hot streak yet. Uncle Sam reminds us over, and over, and over, and over, and over again the importance of divisional matchups after the close game and high intensity of the Steelers and Bengals game as well as how much they impact the playoff picture going forward. He also has an issue with the no call that gave the Pats the W over the Jets. Bruce highlights just how bad the Rams, Panthers, and Bears really are, and tries not to look smug the entire time because the joy of a Lions 3 game win streak has him needing a fresh pair of pants. We debate the matchup between Arizona and San Francisco in Mexico City and highlight Kyler Murray’s importance.
I’m dumbfounded writing this…but my delusional co-hosts picked the Detroit Lions to win 3 in a row for the first time since 2017. Somehow Uncle Sam and Bruce believe the 7-2 New York Giants and Saquon Barkley will fall to the Honolulu Blue in New Jersey this weekend. Anyone in the mood for Kool- Aid? In other news, the curse of the late game comes up as the Kirk Cousins plays Dak Prescott and the Cowboys at 4:25 Sunday…which ultimately lead to us picking Dallas in a sweep this week. Bruce is heated that Josh Allen gets a warmup game at Ford Field due to snow against the Browns on Sunday before he shows the world what Turkeys truly look like against the Lions on Thanksgiving. Uncle Sam has officially turned his back on Gangrene and picks the Pats, and thinks the Cardinals have the juice to beat San Fran on Monday Night Football live from Mexico City.
After a quick recap of Monday night's action, we update you on injuries impacting the fantasy football world in week 11, give you advice on who we would start and who we would sit, and who our weekly sleepers are.
Three things are guaranteed in this life. Death, Taxes, and the Lions winning meaningless games to destroy any hopes of seeing Bryce Young in Honolulu Blue. We recap what Sam thinks was the game of the year, where Kirk Cousins and the Vikings gutted out a win over the Buffalo Bills and capitalized on Josh Allen’s miscues. The boys discuss the issues in the Raiders locker room, and give big praise to the Colts, Jim Irsay, and Jeff Saturday. Sam also discusses Tampa's projected resurgence back towards the top ranks of the NFC after a big win in Munich over the Seahawks. Uncle Sam still has hope for the Chargers and loves the downfall of Matt Stafford and the Rams. Bruce brings up the Cowboys, and inevitably Uncle Sam roasts Mike McCarthy. Our midseason playoff predictions, and a Monday night preview cap off an episode for the ages.
Sam thinks week 10 is officially the end of the Philadelphia Eagles undefeated season. Uncle Sam on the other hand has lost interest in his secret lover Taylor Heinicke, and instead thinks The City of Brotherly Love will prevail over the entire league this season. Sam believed the Seattle Scumbags will get exposed by Tampa Brady, and prays that that beautiful drive by the Bucs to take revenge on the Rams is a look at things to come. Uncle Sam and Bruce both take big gulps of blue Kool-Aid live on air as they pick the Detroit Lions to keep rolling in an upset over the red hot Chicago Bears and Justin Fields. We preview all of week 10 and make our picks on how each and every game will play out this weekend.
