Pick the Carnival winner
Is it the Professor with his trifecta of trifectas or Pig's postie picks predicting the winners week in and week out? Or maybe Deep Blue with the wisdom that only a computer programme can possess. Perhaps it'll be lucky Nick, since he's casting the final vote!
Listen in to our final Spring Carnival podcast to find out the answer, as well we'll tip you in to the winners on the last two days. On Facebook or tipstars.com.au
Another double donut day for Melbourne (or are they looking at my bank account?).
Melbourne is only a week out of lockdown and busy back at work. So, what do we do? We have a holiday for a horse race that we have to stay home and watch on TV. As it's only a 3-minute race, perhaps we could have just had a late lunch break instead!
Only three local horses, competing against the world's finest, to win the Holy Grail of "The Cup”.
Pig's tips and the Deep Blue value picks are running hot, so have a listen and then have a win.

Derby Day is considered by many to be the #1 race day on the calendar. Don’t miss the big party that is the Flemington Carnival with fashion, Group One racing, sweeps and all you can guzzle in the comfort of your own back yard. Gate crashers will be fined.
Deep Blue has dug deep to find some value bets and Pig is running so hot you could BBQ using his tips.
By Saturday afternoon the hot tips will be yesterday’s cyber fish ‘n chip paper. So, listen now and bet early.

We know that all the other states hate Victoria (read envy) but it’s nice to get things back to normal – Vic versus NSW.
Group 1 horse racing is back at headquarters (Flemington) and in the name of a great mare.
Which mare you may ask? The professor often professed that Makybe Diva is the best of the best.
He also will tip you into the winner of this weight for age Group One race, plus the Melbourne Cup – so get a pen and paper and listen closely.
We touch on the new whip rule, the AFL in Queensland, MRC memberships, explore the idea of lay-off/lay-on, discuss whatever happened to 'pick seven' and examine the upcoming Spring carnival races.

Victoria may have lost the AFL Grand Final, the Boxing Day test and the Aussie Open so maybe we need to erect a giant Trump-like wall to keep the border raiders out!
