As the 2020 27th overall draft pick to the Minnesota Twins, Aaron Sabato is primed to bring his power bat to the next level. In 2021, Sabato hit 19 home runs and so far in 2022 he has 9. With a 60 on the scouting power grade and an incredible career at UNC, Sabato hopes to climb the ranks of the minors in a hurry. Sabato is currently in high A ball for the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

The Red Sox have been scorching hot since their rough start of 11-20. As of right now they are tied for the 4th best record in the AL, just one game below the Twins for 3rd best. But the bullpen/closer role still looms large!

Padres Triple-A standout Matthew Batten joins Prospect’s Perspective! Batten is on fire with a .298 (AVG), 9 home runs (HR), 28 runs batted in (RBI), a .402 on base percentage (OBP), and a .921 on base plus slugging (OPS). Batten currently leads the El Paso Chihuahuas in runs scored and on base plus slugging. He ranks second in runs scored in the entire Pacific Coast League! Batten has played alongside Robinson Cano, Luke Voit, and Nomar Mazara to name a few.
