Episode 8 - Your Body Does NOT Have An Immune System…

You hear about your Immune System all the time, but did you know that your body doesn't HAVE an Immune System?

That's because it IS an Immune System.

You see, unlike the other systems of your body, the Immune System is not identifiable by a few specific organs.

For example, your Nervous System is made up of your brain and spinal cord, your Digestive System is made up of your stomach and intestines, and your Cardiovascular System is made up of your heart and blood vessels.

However, your Immune System doesn't have a specific set of organs and glands assigned to it.

Why?

Because keeping the body healthy and free of "foreign invaders" is SO important that ALL of the systems of the body work together to form what is more of an Immune "Community" than it is an Immune "System".

Needless to say, it's okay to call it an Immune System. It's also okay to do things to nourish and strengthen it.

In fact, it's highly recommended that you do!

Fortunately, there are many things you can do to nourish and strengthen your Immune System … twenty-one of which will be discussed in next week's episode.

However, there is ONE that people are most interested in:
