Holy heck gang... IT HAS BEEN A MINUTE!

So we touched briefly on what happened to us all last year but man-o-man that seems like it was in completely different world oh so many lives ago... but it wasn't, it was November of 2019!

Personally I've been working (that's me, Bubby) throughout the pandemic and in fact I may even be busier than I was BEFORE all of this and it's been exhausting! That is my official excuse on why it's taken me so long to edit these eight month old podcasts we recorded last year... oh and my keyboard wasn't functioning correctly either so that made editing a nightmare, HA!

Anyhow, here we are... back with a "new" mini episode, this time around we discussed the Ralph Records 1979 compilation, Subterranean Modern. This was a fun one to record, getting together again for the first time in months at that point... Now imagine how much fun it will be like when we record our first podcast in 2020!!

It's been a long hot summer gang and THIS... is a long, hot episode! In this episode we wrap up the first decade of The Residents music by filling in the gaps between the albums released between 1970 and 1979 with the EPs and singles of the 70s. Sure, sure we've touch on some of these before but it's always nice to revisit a release to see if Marco thinks it's PLONK! or NOT PLONK! We also talk about t-shirt ideas, there ended up being quite a few, so it's probably high time we get on that!

Ok so, here it is, a long time in coming but a fun time none the less, please, sit back, relax, grab something cold (or if you're listening in Australia grab something hot and watch out for all those giant deadly things that live around you!) and enjoy... The Singles of the 70s!

SURPRISE!... Outta nowhere, BOOM, new Mini Episode for you all! Yeah, it's been a while. We've all been busy at something recently, new jobs, old jobs, band stuff, travelling... you all know LIFE! But here we are again, and wow, we have something... well... uh... well, we have something, for YOU ALL!

This mini, at first, seemed to have very little if anything to do with The Residents but Marco thankfully tied it all together for us, thanks man!

NOW, having said ALLLLLL of that, let us say to you dear listener, that this episode contains A LOT of explicit language... A, LOT! Wow, some of us go off! So please be warned, not for those whose ears will pop off the sides of their heads and combust into flames at the very first F word they hear! This one is definitely WILD and we go deeper maybe than expected... sheesh... this one.

Oh hey there gang! This week, Marco takes us on a journey into... well... into ourselves I guess?!? After many people inquired about our own podcast's artwork (provided by our very own Mr. Gibbley!) we decided to explore if and how The Residents have influenced all of our own art be it Mr. Gibbley's Illustrations, Bubby's music or Bee's photography. This was a fun one to record and to actually think about if and how the group has affected us BEYOND mere listening to their music. This episode was a HOOT! The gang discussed the mythological 'Not Available' album with a little help from FRIENDLY RICH, musician, podcaster and all around swell guy (and Mr. Gibbley's bestie!!)! This album is very personal for the two of them, much like 'Duck Stab/Buster & Glen' was for all the hosts, so it's a trip down memory lane for them. We also get to hear about a Residential moment with Rich's mom. As stated before and in the episode, this one is a HOOT! So grab some chips, yer mom and settle in for this one gang... oh, and ENJOY!

What's up gang?!? We are back with a new Mini Episode for you all! A couple of weeks ago it dawned on us that we had never really done a Residents history lesson for those listeners who are somewhat familiar or totally lost in the dark about the group... and here it is, or part 1 of it any how! Basically the crew outline and talk about the early years of the group, from about 1965 through to 1979.

We were also able to keep this episode... MINI! It's only a 30 minute history lesson so hopefully you all can stay awake that long!!

Gang, gang, gang... First off, I'd like to apologize for the delay with this episode. We recorded this one and in the end we were left with nearly three hours of an episode! Now we all love The Residents but no one wants to watch Waterworld starring The Residents... or do they???

Anyhow, I fought with this one to try and edit it down as much as I could but it's still clocking in at 1 hour and about 53 minutes BUT I assure you this much material is necessary for this episode as we are discussing what many consider to be their gateway album and the gateway album for non-Resident fans, DUCK STAB/BUSTER & GLEN.

We all really hope you like it. Hang in there, we know it's a long one but having said that and having had to listen to it many, many times during editing etc., it goes by pretty darn quick and we stay pretty much on topic... or as much as we can!
