The Titterpigs finally corner Dr. Paul Mitchener, designer, educator, and creator of Liminal, for a long-overdue chat. Paul takes us from his first RPG experience (GMing D&D before he’d ever played) to his early published work on Wild Talents, and how a mix of curiosity, collaboration, and sheer nerve turned into a career in game design.
We dig into the origins of Liminal, why its UK-flavored urban fantasy struck a nerve, what’s coming next for the line, and the hard-earned truth about running Kickstarters, stretch goals, budgets, and a little launch-day superstition. Paul also teases Age of Arthur 2E, a new Osprey Games project, and reflects on the Mitchester Arms online pub that kept a lot of us sane.
Plus: ukuleles, polite British bragging, and why networking is just “making friends with extra steps.”
