We are back with our weekly horror entry again involving two very different movies.  The first movie was born out of a short from an anthology movie we discussed a few weeks ago.  The second takes a look at the horrors of trying to make it in Hollywood.  Both movies were enjoyable, as were the drinks, which we returned to our standard.

We are back with our weekly horror podcast and we take a look at two very distinct and different movies.  One is a French horror film, and the French know how to turn things up to 11.  The other flick is a sequel to a movie that took the world by storm in 1999.  As usual, we are partaking in adult beverages.

This episode we take a look at the zombie horror subgenre.  Many people say that a zombie movie is solely comprised of waking dead, while others hold that infection movies can also be considered a zombie film.  We decided to go with the latter and came up with three very different types of zombie films as well as touched on several others.  We discussed a zombie comedy, a foreign infection film, as well as a classic movie from the godfather of the zombie genre.

We have finally finished the most epic saga in Hollywood history (heavy sarcasm).  We really wanted to finish this series up, so we ended up watching the final two in a row in order to get them done on one podcast.  If you intend on watching these movies, make sure your alcohol stash is substantial.

This episode we bring back a recurring guest to discuss movies that are based on a true story with the caveat that we didn't include war movies or biopics.  Slimming down the true story category made it a bit difficult, but we were able to have a good discussion about three different movies.  Not drinking the traditional whiskey this time around.

We are back with another year in review podcast.  These are getting harder and harder as we go along due to the number of quality movies being released.  These podcasts tend to go a bit long, which means we have a few more drinks than usual.

This week with our horror entry we take a look at a Shudder low budget original.  Although not exactly a horror film, the movie was pretty enjoyable.  Some of the similarities to what is going on  in the world today are pretty striking.  Also, we are back to our standard podcast cocktail.

This episode we decided to take a look at an actress and pick out our favorite movie from her catalog.  She has been working actively since the 1970's and is often recognized and the first A-list scream queen.  Her filmography is deep and we were all able to pick a different movie.

This episode we bring in our horror movie guest and instead of looking at a single movie, we look at a trilogy.  All three are anthologies, so we are actually looking at 12 short stories very loosely connected by a narrative thread.  Some of the stories are better than others, but overall, the trilogy is very strong.  As were the drinks.

This episode we bring back a returning guest to discuss the best movie that is based on a book.  There are a lot of great movies to consider, but we each came up with a different movie.  It also happens that all three of our movies come from very different genres, which made the discussion that much more interesting.
