This episode is just the two of us again and we are taking a look at one of the few movies that got released this year before the pandemic hit.  We surprisingly stay on topic pretty well with just a few small deviations.  This is a really strong movie that would have done better financially had movie theatres not been shut down.

This episode we again have a returning guest and we take a look at a movie that underperformed financially.  It also took a pretty big hit critically, but we were all in agreement that it is a strong flick.  About halfway through we end up talking about a completely different movie, but we do eventually get back on track.  The alcohol may have had something to do with that.

We are back on track with our year in reviews.  This was a pretty loaded year, so instead of a top 5, we made it a top 7.  The podcast is longer than the previous recordings, but we do stay surprisingly on point.  Looking ahead, we will probably stick with 7, so expect these next episodes to run a bit longer than they had previously.

Another episode, another return guest.  Ironically, this is the second foreign film we have done with this particular person.  The movie we discuss was quite controversial when it came out and has not been seen by nearly enough people.  It also happened to be on one of our 2000 best lists.  We stray off topic here and there, but we get through it and have a general conversation to close it all down.

We are back with our resident movie expert to take a look at a movie that not only created a sub-genre, but impacted all of horror cinema.  This movie is shocking now, I can only imagine how it was received when it first hit theatres.  It is graphic, vulgar, and awesome.

This episode we have another guest on for the first time to take a look at a foreign film that is streaming on Netflix.  We do have a good discussion about the movie, but as always, we end up going off topic a few times.  It looks like this guest could be on again in the future.

This episode we have a returning guest on  to discuss one of the absolute classics in all of cinema.  We take a deep dive into some of the themes and ideas presented in the movie.  It comes as no surprise that we do get off topic a time or two, but we were able to right the ship eventually.

It took us a little while to get back on track, but we finally got another year in review episode done.  Due to recording remotely, there are some volume issues at times, which we will try to fix by the time we record the next one.  Hopefully we can get back on track to getting these recording regularly.

We are still practicing social distancing, so we decided to bring on another guest to the podcast remotely.  We have known her for several years, but as you listen you will be able to tell that we haven't talked with her in a long while.  We had intended to discuss a movie, but with all the tangents the conversation took, we didn't even get to it.  She will be back on again to talk about the movie, because it is one we all thoroughly enjoy.

This episode we do another remote podcast with one of our oldest friends.  We take a look at a movie that was a huge hit when we were kids to see if it has held up.  Doing a podcast with a couple old friends means that there are several tangents that are made, but we do eventually get back to and finish the movie.
