GUEST OVERVIEW: Scott Schara experienced first hand the controversial hospital treatment of his daughter, Grace (19), who also had Covid but died due to the combination of questionable medications administered by hospital staff as well as the faulty decision to label Grace DNR (Do Not Resuscitate). Michael likes to imagine himself one day getting fit, and loves British comedy and Eastern European food. Michael has written a number of books including ‘Between Tick and Tock’, ‘Is Forgiveness Really Free?’ and ‘My God, My God – Is it possible to believe anymore?’ Among other things, Michael is responsible for the vision of St Mark’s, for leading the staff team, and for the preaching programme. Michael also conducts a number of ministries outside of St Mark’s and is on the board for Publica; produces the With All Due Respects podcast; and can often be seen on ABC's The Drum.

Her research interests are Modern Languages, Classical Literature, Women's Studies, Children's Literature and Classical Reception Studies. GUEST OVERVIEW: Father Lazarus is an Eastern Orthodox Priest who currently works as a Bereavement Counselor for Hospice. A former Wall Street Trader at the NYSE, Dr. Gahles left that life to follow his calling to help people after having been through 9-11 and having lost a lot of friends. He is married with six children (And still sane!) and lives in the US. Dr. Gahles has a Bachelors in Theology and Counseling, a Masters in Theology and Counseling, and a Doctorate in Ministry having studied under Dr. John Behr a Patristic Scholar and Orthodox Priest from Oxford University. Dr. Gahles is also a Certified BioEthicist in end of life care from the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia, Pa. He is an avid reader of History, Theology, and Philosophy who enjoys music and Art with a special love for Bach's Compositions.

In his continuing career, he has worked on a variety of projects ... from video games to serious historical content. Brian currently works full-time at Flying Frog Productions as an illustrator and concept artist. His interests also include alternative history, cryptozoology, & the study and preservation of Japanese armor and weaponry.
