This week we expose the hidden side of Pinterest & Instagram's impact on Weddings, specifically how they promote fake wedding photos and distort the expectations of newly-engaged couples. Have you ever heard of Styled Shoots? They are elaborately planned and carefully orchestrated 'Fake Weddings' run by industry professionals designed to capture awe-inspiring wedding imagery. Well we recently created our own Styled Photoshoot and thought this was a great chance to discuss the pros & cons of such a Photoshoot. Like we love the opportunity for couples to express their creativity, discover unique ideas, and collaborate with talented professionals. However, we also fear the potential for heightened expectations, the pressure to replicate the styled look in real-life weddings, and the risk of losing sight of authenticity when almost all the photos on Pinterest these days use models and not a real couples. We finish off the episode with some practical advice on navigating Pinterest's influence, managing expectations, and embracing the uniqueness of each couple's love story. By shedding light on the Pinterest paradox, we hope to empower couples to prioritise their happiness and authenticity over unattainable perfection. So join us as we dive into the world of picture-perfect Wedding Photos/Make-up and the detrimental effects they can have on your expectations.

This week we explore the ups and downs of needing a spark when dating. On one hand, that initial attraction and chemistry can be incredibly exciting and lead to a powerful connection with someone. It can create a sense of excitement and anticipation that keeps the relationship fresh and interesting. However, relying solely on a spark can also be problematic. It can lead to dismissing potential partners who may not initially light that fire, but who could be wonderful matches in the long run. Join us as we dive into the pros and cons of needing a spark when dating, and explore strategies for finding balance and building meaningful relationships. Whether you're single and searching, or in a committed relationship, this episode will provide valuable insights into the role of attraction in finding and maintaining love.
In addition to discussing the initial spark in dating, we'll also dive into ways to keep that spark alive during a relationship. It's common for the excitement and intensity of a new relationship to fade over time, but there are strategies that can help maintain that connection. We'll explore the importance of communication, both in expressing appreciation and addressing challenges. We'll also talk about ways to keep the romance and intimacy alive, such as date nights and trying new activities together. Join us as we discuss practical tips for reigniting the flame and creating a lasting, fulfilling relationship.

Wedding Planners, Wedding Day of Coordinators, Venue Coordinators - What's the difference and do you need one for your Wedding? Hint, the answer is yes but maybe you can just give this job to a friend or family member. In this episode we are going through the roles and responsibilities of a Wedding Day Coordinator and help you decide whether you need to hire a specific vendor to do the job or if you can just ask a friend. There are so many things to consider with this and like most things we talk about, if you haven't planned a wedding day before it is so hard to know what it all means. This is the type of episode we wish we had of listened to before we got married because trust me there are a few big things we would change to make our day less stressful! We also talk about Wedding Proposals in this episode and give our take on whether proposals are going to far and becoming more about the spectacle than the couple themselves!

Every Wedding is different but in this episode we are trying to go through some of the nuances when it comes to your big day because these unspoken things are often the things people forget to plan and will catch them out on their day.
