Welcome back to Week 2 of my new series called Embodiment as Sacred Force for Change!  Today’s episode occurs during a powerful triple conjunction with Chiron, Eris, and Venus in Aries, while the first quarter moon is in Gemini.  We explore how the energy of this moment pushes honest questions and sacred speech.   Eris represents profound spiritual warrior energy, acting as an agent of change, and is a fierce disrupter on behalf of those who have been systemically silenced.  

We use this bold timing to dare to speak about the colonization wound as a living pattern in our bodies, our relationships, and our healing spaces, including the way Eurocentric Western psychology and the mental health industrial complex has tried to strip spirit, ancestry, and land-based wisdom out of care.  We confront how colonization shapes disconnection, disembodiment, distrust, and suffering across lineages, and the path of healing involves daily acts of intentional resistance.  We will remember who we are, and that we are love.  We will relaim our bodies by decolonizing them – one breath, one tear, and one song at a time.   

In today's emobdiment pracitce, we return to vocalization as a pathway to regulation, expression, and energetic movement. The voice connects with the vagus nerve, and humming, toning, and finding a comforting middle note can cue safety and soften the throat, breath, and heart  -- deepening spiritual practice and making space for guides, ancestors, land connection, and sacred speech.

I'm back with a focused new Spring series called Embodiment as Sacred Force for Change!  We'll be using the potent New Moon and tomorrow's Spring Equinox to tend to our personal earth, our body, and plant powerful seeds for our future.   Weekly embodiment focused episodes will be aligned with the moon phases from the Spring Equinox until the Summer Solstice.  I will show you why deepening our capacity to stay present, connected, and courageous is an essential path to our healing, transformation, and collective liberation.

It comes down to the most vital question: what happens when we’re disembodied? Who and what actually benefits from our chronic immobilization and the illusion that we are powerless? Over the course of these next 14 weeks, I will make it my personal mission to convince you that when our nervous system lives in chronic threat, it’s easier to control us, divide us, and keep us stuck in fear. Embodiment becomes sovereignty, a way to enhance presence with our autonomic nervous system cues, honor our survival strategies, and still choose right relationship to our body, our integrity, and our communities, knowing that when we are united in collective embodiment we are able to uplift each other, and that’s when we harness our greatest power for change.

Our first practice today is vocalization, because the voice holds so much history. We explore gentle sound on the exhale, humming, and simple ways to experiment even if you “can’t sing,” then connect it to polyvagal theory, vagus nerve stimulation, and why chanting and group rhythm can support mood and regulation. Today’s episode is dedicated to all the families who have been brutalized by ICE for far too long, and to the protesters and people in Minnesota who have lost their lives in the fight for justice and collective liberation. This conversation about shame, healing, and accountability feels especially meaningful in moments of profound pain.  Shame is inseparable from the systems of dominance that try to silence, control, and dehumanize.  Let this moment remind us what is at stake when the cost of standing up to power is so high.  But the cost of standing down is even higher.

Happy New Year, friend. 

As the year turns, we stand between what we’re building and what we dare to imagine next. In today's episode, we start from the luminous darkness of last month's winter solstice and dark moon, then move into a Capricorn new moon that insists on real containers for our values.  From there, Aquarius season arrives with its clear air, inviting radical authenticity linked to collective care. It’s the moment to choose one seed worth tending, one structure that keeps you honest, and one way your gift serves more than yourself. 

I share how Capricorn’s sea goat helps us climb with integrity while staying fluent in our emotional depths, transforming intention into legacy through daily practice and steady boundaries. Then we widen the lens with Aquarius, the visionary current that blends independence with activism, encouraging innovation that centers justice and community, building a better world that doesn't just live in our dreams. The moon’s slide into Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, adds an otherworldly, intuitive tone, which illuminates possibility and brings imagination into form. 

I plant some seeds for 2026, including a sharper focus on shadow work which starts with next episode's guest ~ Dr. Keren Sofer, a dear friend and psychologist who is passionate about shame and takes us on a deep dive into the elements and relational purpose of it.  This thread runs through everything here: when we turn toward what we were taught to avoid, we stop letting it steer from the dark.

In today's episode we use this rare double dark moon (micro moon) on December 19th and the days leading up to the Winter Solstice on December 21st as a potent threshold.  Release what’s done. Bless what taught you. Name what you refuse to carry forward. Then claim who you are and what you choose to focus on creating, expanding, and birthing for the year ahead: a practice you’ll keep, a cause you’ll serve, a truth you’ll speak, a joy you’ll protect, the magick that is uniquely yours to bring forth into the world. 

Over these next few days use this portal of exquisite darkness, to slow down, reflect, tune in, and just be.  Expressing your quiet commitment is spell work and this moment is THE TIME TO DO IT.  When the first crescent appears, you’ll already be transforming, aligned and steady, birthing who you have always been in a sacred spiral that remembers you even when you forget yourself.

In today's episode, we look at the celestial influences of the New Moon in Scorpio, which arrives like a tide at midnight—quiet on the surface, roaring beneath— and this week’s grand water trine turns that tide into a mirror.  With the Sun, Moon, and Mercury all in Scorpio, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, and Jupiter in Cancer, the chart invites a deep wash of intuition, clarity of heart, memory, and emotional movement. In today's episode we explore a rare run of lunations in the coming months—three supermoons in Aries, Taurus, and Gemini—followed by a micro new moon just before the winter solstice. Each phase offers its own pathway for transformation but ultimately will work best when built on each other: fire that emboldens right action, earth that grounds what we call into being, air that clarifies voice and message, and a double-dark void that invites deep planting and deep release.  We dive into these potent lunations occurring on October 6th Super Full Moon in Aries; November 5th Super Full Moon in Taurus; and December 4th Super Full Moon in Gemini.  We also explore the culminating force of release and creation occurring on December 19th with a Micro New Moon in Sagittarius just days before the December 21st Winter Solstice which will be offering a Double Dark of the Moon!  We weave together ways to work with this cycle of lunar magick to ready ourselves for clarity, truth, and transformation if we want to be ready for the battle ahead, we must first confront the battle within.  The heartbeat of this conversation is simple: change is here, and the only way we steer it is by changing ourselves first.

Today’s episode was recorded at the peak of a powerful Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. This is a sacred time where truth is revealed and significant transformation is supported by the cosmos.  This eclipse signals a time to let go of old patterns and behaviors, bringing closure to repeating cycles of intergenerational wounds and wounding that we all internalize from the dominant systems around us.  We explore how reconnecting with our ancestral truth offers a pathway toward both personal sovereignty and collective change.  We look at the pattern of cultural suppression that serves white supremacy by severing connections to ancestral wisdom.  

During this transformative Blood Moon, ask yourself: Where do you need to rise up in your truth? Are you in right-relationship with what matters most? What service do you bring to the work that needs to be done right now?

The path forward requires going backward and slowing way down - honoring our nature, speaking our truth, and reclaiming what has always been ours.  We all have a role to play in what happens next, what's yours?
