This episode starts out with a big gag - the reveal of the name Freya, and the fact that she is indeed a Mikaelson! Elijah’s kidnapping forces Klaus to have a long chat with Esther, where she reveals information about Klaus’s father, but neglects to mention the existence or significance of Dahlia. Speaking of Klaus’s father, he turns up in the bayou with the long-missing Jackson, who was NOT kidnapped. Ansel and Hayley help to reunite Oliver with Jackson, so they can catch up one final time. Meanwhile in the Quarter, Cami is suspicious of Finncent and plays him like a fiddle, with an assist from Marcel and Gia.
