I’ve been feeling kinda flat lately, like there’s no spark. Nothing’s wrong, per se, just... flat. Then, out of nowhere, I found myself daydreaming about gratitude practices—you know, like the ones that got all buzzy around the time of that movie The Secret.
Did those practices often feel contrived? You betcha. It too often felt forced, like telling people to just pretend everything was amazing, and it would be. Gross.
But here’s the kicker: I got curious again. Not that I have any interest in getting into the fake stuff, but I AM interested in looking for real moments that make me go, whoa! (Like on a recent walk when I noticed a heart on the sidewalk.) These are Life’s little "I see you" moments.
What if this practice, this hunt for little life sparks, changes how we see our world and ourselves? I’m on the hunt, and I’m curious—what would happen if you tried it, too?
I can’t wait to hear how it goes for you. Thanks for being here, it means a lot. Catch you soon, coffee in hand.
